KYLA FERRIER

Kyla is an actor, singer-songwriter, composer, recording artist, director, and producer, working in film and theatre. She has a passion for following her curiosity and taking bold risks, and enjoys the creative flow of improvisation. Her songwriter work is at once bare-bones and poetic, rocking and anthemic, referred to as "Ghostly Beauty" by CBC Music, and has been compared to Daughter, Anohni, Grimes, and 90’s alt rock. She's most delighted when devising theatre, filmmaking, and recording music.  Ky was heading into tech as sound designer and composer on a show with Jupiter Theatre when the shutdown happened, one of several projects put on hold.
